| The latest edition of HRSA Care ACTION examines
the high proportion of AIDS cases related to substance abuse
in the United States.
The newsletter, published monthly by HRSA's HIV/AIDS Bureau,
also looks at the latest trends in sexually transmitted diseases
and the growing number of Ryan White CARE Act providers reaching
out to minorities and women. It also provides an update of
statistics on substance use and abuse and HIV/AIDS disease.
HAB administers the CARE Act that provides funds for primary
care and support services for medically underserved individuals
and families affected by HIV/AIDS.
